These people have been in my life for the past 9 years (well actually more than just nine years, 'coz we attended the same school since pre-school!), can you believe how time flies so fast? From first crushes, to first menstrual period, to first kisses, cat fights, dance practices, cheating exams, heart aches, to graduating together.. We've come a long way!! There's a reason to celebrate everyday, because we know for a fact that we will always have each other's back no matter what. Some of us left the country already, some stayed but are too busy, but in our hearts KAPINAM will always be KAPINAM!

Let's give it a little twirl! hahaha. I love this dress because it really has that vintage look because of the pattern and it's color. I believe my hair color also compliments the over-all look. Let's Talk Girly

Now let's talk about girly stuff, MAKE-UP!!! Well I don't really use expensive and branded make-ups, I go for the brands which I have tried and trusted already.

For the base, what I use everyday, literally everyday after having a shower is thisSKIN FOOD BB CREAM-MUSHROOM with SPF 20 PA++. I used to buy BB creams from Etude House but ever since I had this, I completely fell for it's natural way of making you feel fresh, blemish free and beautiful of course.

Well I admit, I'm a Maybelline baby! Ever since I was a college student, Maybelline products are what I usually use. I have two mascara's mainly because they serve two different purposes, the MAGNUM VOLUME EXPRESS gives volume, and theHYPER CURL VOLUME EXPRESS-CAT EYES lengthens the lashes and gives that big and lovely cat eyes look.

Lip balm's a must for me because I have the tendency of having dried lips most of the time. LIPLICIOUS by BATH AND BODY WORKS' a really great lip balm since it has that tasty flavor and gives moisture to the lips.| The PEACH WATER GLOSSby ETUDE HOUSE can be used during night outs or on dates. You can apply it after using a regular lippie and enhance it with this gloss and voila!! It will give you that watery and kissable lips. (who can resist those lips now? hahaha!)

Of course I'll never get tired of endorsing my favorite NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM, check it out here for my previous blog post! The middle lippie is a NUDE shade lipstick from ETUDE HOUSE, and the one on the right is a RED matte lippie by EVER BILENA.

And of course, scents are also important because who would want to come near you if you smell awful? hahaha. I'm not a really big fan of perfumes, butVICTORIA'S SECRET body sprays just give you that sweet, candy-like scent which I totally loooove!<3

A DAY OF LOVE

January 2, 2012 was a special day for my cousin, her most awaited WEDDING DAY!<3 (Just typing those words made me blush..hahaha.) What made it extra special for me was that they had the wedding scheduled in the afternoon, and reception was done at dinner time. Well it's a good thing since I didn't have to worry about how hot the weather would be. hahaha.

The Wedding rites was done at Paco Park, Manila where my parents were also married!! Great isn't it? It was a solemn place, and had a really small chapel so only a few close friends and relatives were able to witness.

Here's what I wore:

What's even more interesting was that my cousin came in this Vintage Wedding Car:

And there she is, the most beautiful bride I've ever seen:

Seriously, I was a little jealous because what I've wanted to happen in my OWN wedding, I saw it here. The vintage car, the laced wedding dress, the vintage setting of the reception..etc. hahaha. But I'm really glad, because this is the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to.

So after the reception, They had a Mobile Bar, wherein you can get cocktails and wines unlimited! (but just so you know, I don't drink! So i didn't get to taste any of these!)

Surprise!! The BEST part of my lovely dress, it's low-back! hahaha.

Of course, I'll keep on boasting about how great my NYX soft matte lip cream is. It's just the best! I just love its PINKness!!

Over all, it was a great night!! Who would be sad after a wedding celebration anyway? I wonder when would I be having my own? hahaha. xoxoxoxo

NYX

When it comes to make up, I go for Eye Liners, Eye Shadows and Mascara'sbecause what I really want to emphasize are my eyes. Ever since I was a kid people would always tell me that my best asset was my deep set, almond shaped, brown colored eyes. But then I end up forgetting how important my lips are, that it shouldn't look pale nor chappy. (girls just got a lot of issues! I know!)

I have tried several lippy brands, but what I don't like about lipsticks is that they get easily removed or they chap after a few minutes. Most of the lipsticks I tried gave the same results, so I end up trying a different brand again, and so on and so forth, until I gave up and would rather use a lip and cheek tint instead.
Luckily, a friend introduced me to the NYX brand but was hesitant at first because I didn't want to spend money again and regret in the end if I didn't like the result of the product on me. But then I still tried, and this is the product I got:

NYX soft matte lip cream|Addis Ababa

We got it from Eastwood Bazaar, and tried only one shade. Am I happy and satisfied?YES! 100%! I tell you, this is really a promising lipstick. It looks like a lip gloss, and feels like a lip gloss on the first application, but then after a few seconds, it turns into a matte finish lippy.
It's not lipstick, nor is it gloss. It's like nothing you've experienced before. It's lipstick cream that goes on silky but looks soft matte. - NYX cosmetics
Now I'm so excited to grab more shades of this soft matte lip cream! It actually lasts for a couple of hours on me, that's why I don't have to retouch from time to time.

Christmas Eve

I've never tried blogging about the outfits I post on lookbook, so this is the first.hahaha. What I wore during Christmas eve celebration was not the typical red or green color palette outfit because I didn't want to blend in with the crowd, so I wore black!
